Pre Tan Instructions
- Thoroughly exfoliate and shave prior to treatment, so that dead skin cells are removed, so that the tanning solution is applied to clean and fresh skin.
- Complete all beauty routines before the service; waxing, sugaring, mani/pedi’s or facials. (So that products do not remove the spray tan)
- Have bare skin, no lotions, oils, makeup, or deodorant on before tan. The solution will work best directly on clean skin.
- Wear lose fitting clothes, so as not to rub the new tan and cause sweating. Flip flops or sandals are preferred.
Post Tan Instructions
- STANDARD Tan must rinse after 8-12 hours
- EXPRESS Tan must rinse after 2-5 hours
- Before your first rinse, do not sweat or get your skin wet. If you have pets don't let them lick.
- Before your first rinse, wear dark, loose clothing (no bras, underwear, socks or tennis shoes; sandals ok)
- Be careful of touching yourself to avoid orange palms. For your first rinse, use lukewarm water (no soap!) until water runs clear. Pat dry with towel; do not rub
- Your tan takes 24 hours to develop. During this time, do not apply moisturizer or liquid foundation. Do not use soap.
Ongoing Care
- Do not use products/moisturizers containing mineral oil or articial fragrances.
- If you use acne/retinol products your face may become blotchy. You may use a tan extending lotion that contains DHA after day 3
- Moisturize twice a day. Keeping moisturized will ensure an even fade
- Avoid harsh chemicals such as chlorine in pools or hot tubs, massages, saunas, excessive sweating, and fashion tape since all of these things can cause the tan to fade faster
- Do not exfoliate until you are ready to remove your tan
